Jonathan Smith, became a partner of SL & Associates in 2014, and is currently the Principal Partner and Director of Processing and Operations.

Mr. Smith has worked in many different industries throughout his career. These previous industries have been vastly different encompassing the fields of Journalism, Insurance, Customer Service, and Tax Preparation. Most recently Mr. Smith served as the Director of Operations for Smith Bonds & Surety based out of Toledo, OH. Mr. Smith joined Smith Bonds & Surety in 2006 growing the company from a hand full of agents in the Toledo area to over 50 across Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Mr. Smith has been a live long residence of Northwest Ohio, graduating from BGSU with a bachelors degree in Finance and minor in Applied Statistics in 2008. Mr. Smith also currently serves on the board of trustees as Vice Chairman for Fort Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg, and was elected to Perrysburg City Council in 2015. He Currently Serves as Perrysburg Council President. 

Mr. Smith is a proud member of the Perrysburg Rotary Club, St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg Chamber of Commerce, Visit Perrysburg Board, BGSU Alumni Board, Knight of Columbus, BNI - COBRA Chapter.
